Taco Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound / 450 grams ground beef (or ground turkey or chicken)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Willy Nilly Taco Seasoning (
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Taco shells or soft tortillas
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Meat:
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat until browned.
      Drain any excess fat.
    • Add the chopped onion and bell pepper (if using) and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add Seasoning:
    • Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat mixture. Pour in the water and stir to combine.
    • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened.
  3. Assemble Tacos:
    • Spoon the seasoned meat mixture into taco shells or tortillas.
    • Add your favorite toppings.
  4. Serve:
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
